The simple perception of natural forms is a delight.
We walk out of the din and craft of the city and sees the sky and the ocean, and are the men again.
We went to Chaojing Ocean Center this morning, the north coast of Taiwan. Slowly and leisurely, i strolled on the verdant hill next to the museum. The sun shined, the cloud rolled, the wind softly caressed my cheeks, and it had a taste of the ocean filled in the air, salty, moist and bitter.
I thought of the words that William Hazlitt once said:"I like more elbowroom and fewer incumbrances. We go a journey chiefly to be free of all impediments and of all inconveniences: to leave ourselves behind, much more to get rid of others."
Standing on the top of the hill and looked through the azure sea, I felt i'm totally free. I'm free from the impression, the cage of life, the limits of flesh.
I think it is the natural beauty that made me so touched and lead me to the happiness, the peace of mind.
It's wired to write this kind of abstract imagery in the blog, but i just can't forget the sensation. And it's like stirring all my feeling and passion to a land.
I love Taiwan because i must to.
